Head Instructor & Founder
Professor Carlos Miller
4th Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu with more than 29 years of training experience. He leads the academy's technical direction and teaches with depth, patience, and long-term care for students and families.
Coach & Women's Program Lead
Coach Zaide
A competitive athlete with years of training experience who helps build confidence, skill, and community. She remains part of the Indio coaching team while also supporting women's programming.
Muay Thai Coach & Kids/Youth NO-Gi Coach
Coach Adrian
Coach Adrian brings experience as both a Muay Thai fighter and an MMA fighter. He leads Muay Thai classes and supports kids and youth NO-Gi Jiu-Jitsu with an energetic, practical coaching style.
Adult NO-Gi Coach & Morning Gi Lead
Albert Aguirre
A First Degree Black Belt under Professor Carlos Miller who has been training since 2010 and coaching since 2019. Born and raised in Indio, California, he is a true local who teaches adult NO-Gi and leads the adult morning Gi classes with steady technical detail and structure.
Adult No-Gi, Gi & Judo Coach
Ron Ishikawa
A 2nd Degree Black Belt under Professor Carlos Miller, a Judo black belt, and a Muay Thai practitioner with more than five years of striking experience. He teaches NO-Gi and Gi adult classes.
