KIDS JIU-JITSU
BUILT ON CONFIDENCE.
Structured Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for kids and youth ages 5–14 in Indio — real technique, earned progress, and a kid-safe environment where confidence and discipline grow week by week.
MORE THAN WRESTLING
AROUND ON MATS.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is grappling — no punches, no kicks. Kids learn to control position, solve problems under pressure, and stay calm when things get hard. It's often called "human chess," and it's one of the best sports there is for building a confident, coachable, resilient kid.
Our youth program trains twice a week: Tuesdays in No-Gi (shorts and a rash guard) and Thursdays in the Gi (the traditional uniform). Classes are split by age — ages 5–9 train at 5:00 PM and ages 10–14 at 6:00 PM. Both follow a structured curriculum — warm-up, technique, positional practice, and games that make the hard work feel like play.
Classes are led by Professor Carlos Miller, a 4th-degree black belt with 29+ years on the mats, with Coach Adrian leading youth No-Gi. Progress is earned — stripes and belts mean something here — and every kid is coached at their own pace in a safe, supervised room.
Little ones (ages 3–5): our Tiny Ninjas program is currently waitlist only. Join the waitlist now and we'll call you when a spot opens.

Ask About MembershipPARENT QUESTIONS,
ANSWERED.
Is Jiu-Jitsu safe for kids?
Yes. BJJ is grappling — there's no striking — and every round in our youth classes is supervised and controlled. Coaches match kids by size and experience, and technique always comes before intensity.
My child has never done a martial art. Where do they start?
Right here. Almost every kid in the program started with zero experience. The first class is free, and new kids are paired with a buddy so day one feels welcoming, not intimidating.
What's the difference between Gi and No-Gi?
Gi classes use the traditional uniform with grips on the collar and sleeves; No-Gi is grappling in shorts and a rash guard. Our youth program trains both — Tuesday No-Gi and Thursday Gi — which builds a more complete grappler.
My child is 4. Can they join?
Our Tiny Ninjas program for ages 3–5 is currently waitlist only. Join the waitlist and we'll call you as soon as a spot opens — kids 5 and up can start in the youth program right away.
YOUR CHILD'S FIRST CLASS
